AgriMetSoft (Agricultural and meteorological software)

According to the latest IPCC report (AR5), global mean surface air temperatures over land and oceans have increased over the last 100 years. The amount of precipitation will be variable; some regions will experience increases, others will experience decreases, and others will not experience significant changes (IPCC AR5, 2012).

To deal with climate change, we need to know it well, whether by new scientific publications and reports or new software tools. In this regard, Agrimetsoft aims to develop various user- friendly software applications to assist scholars, researchers, and scientists in investigating, evaluating, and assessing these changes through these software tools.

A variety of software packages related to meteorological, Agricultural, and climate sciences are developed, maintained, and supported by Agrimetsoft. In one of our products, we apply CMIP data outputs and new statistical downscaling methods to produce future weather data used in agricultural model inputs to depict better agricultural insight for the future.

In every software tool, we present a comprehensive help file. All the help files are intended to provide detailed information and contained an extensive set of figures and descriptions for researchers and decision-makers to implement software efficiently and without any concerns! Behind every software, Agrimetsoft Researchers have written a perfect paper, and they have implemented the related project via that tool. There are two categories of software tools: free and commercial tools (due to cover expenses!)

How may we assist you?

Sometimes scholars and researchers have problems in running and applying different tools, models, or approaches, such as:

- Extracting NC (NetCDF) files

- Using CMIP5/CMIP6 future data under RCPs (RCP4.5, RCP8.5, RCP6, and RCP2.6) and SSPs (SSP1-1.9, SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, and SSP5-8.5) scenarios

- Run weather generators (such as KNN weather generator)

- Extracting time series from CORDEX NetCDF files under different dynamical downscaling methods

- Run other statistical downscaling methods (such as Scaling, Delta, Quantile mapping, Empirical Quantile Mapping, etc.)

- Applying drought indices in every kind of droughts (meteorological droughts, agricultural droughts, and hydrological droughts) such as SPI, DI, PNI, ZSI, CZDI, MCZI, KBDI, RAI, EDI, PDSI, SPEI, SWSI, SDI, ARI, ETDI, SMD, etc.

- Calculating drought severity and duration

- Using gridded datasets (such as PERSIANN, AgMERRA, TRMM, APHRODITE, GPC, CRU, etc.)

- Calculate and plot IDF (Intensity Duration Function) curves by various distributions (fitted into GEV, Log Pearson III, Lognormal, Gamma and Gumbel, and other distributions)

- And other different meteorological-agricultural-climate projects. Do not worry about your projects, visit the products page and tell us your demands

- If you need a consultant for your master thesis, Ph.D. dissertation, papers, and projects, you can tell us. We will devote an online meeting with our expert scientists and you. They will advise you, solve your issues, provide titles for your projects, and guide you to do it.

We believe that extensive engagement with users has led us to improve our productions and tools; furthermore, we can develop new presentations through our user's ideas.

Every researcher requires scientific new tools to implement and assess their data and equations for achieving better results. Please send us an email (support@agrimetsoft.com or kolsoomi57@gmail.com) and help us improve our tools or develop new applications that you want.

Moreover, you can make a subscription in our YouTube Channel, and follow us to learn about our new tool. We are trying to put learning videos in different concepts, such as:
