Research and climate data services

Climate data analysis and custom research support

AgriMetSoft helps researchers, students, consultants, and project teams prepare climate data, analyze drought conditions, process NetCDF and gridded datasets, create scientific figures, and build custom workflows for environmental studies.

Send us your dataset, study area, required method, and expected output format. We review the request, estimate the work, and deliver results as tables, figures, scripts, reports, or ready-to-use files.

Service areas

These services are designed for real research tasks: cleaning data, preparing model inputs, comparing climate products, calculating drought indices, and producing outputs that can be used in papers, reports, proposals, and decision-support workflows.

Climate projections

Statistical downscaling

Downscaling support for CMIP5 or CMIP6 climate-model outputs using station data or gridded reference datasets. We can prepare localized precipitation, temperature, or other climate variables for impact studies.

Bias correction

Model correction and comparison

Bias correction, model evaluation, and method comparison using common performance criteria. This can include observed station data, reanalysis data, satellite products, and climate-model outputs.

Gridded data

NetCDF extraction and conversion

Extraction of time series, regional subsets, station-based values, and formatted tables from NetCDF or other gridded climate files. Outputs can be delivered as CSV, Excel, text, or project-specific formats.

Drought

Drought indices and severity analysis

Calculation and interpretation of drought indices such as SPI, SPEI, PDSI, RDI, and related metrics. We can also help prepare drought-monitoring workflows connected to DMAP, RDIT, or DMAP-AI.

Data preparation

Weather data conversion

Conversion of weather files between daily, monthly, seasonal, and yearly formats. We can clean Excel files, reshape station tables, merge variables, and prepare inputs for hydrology or crop models.

Visualization

Scientific graphs and reports

Creation of publication-ready charts such as Taylor diagrams, CDF/PDF plots, boxplots, heatmaps, time-series charts, spatial summaries, and comparison figures for climate and environmental datasets.

Gap filling

Missing climate data estimation

Estimation of missing rainfall, temperature, and other climate variables using neighboring stations, historical relationships, inverse-distance weighting, regression methods, and machine-learning approaches when suitable.

Automation

Custom scripts and software support

Development of scripts or small tools in Python, C#, MATLAB, NCL, or related environments for data extraction, model evaluation, batch processing, graph generation, and research workflow automation.

Research workflow

Project-based analysis support

End-to-end assistance for a defined research task, including data review, method selection, analysis, figures, tables, short method notes, and organized output folders for your project archive.

Typical deliverables

  • Cleaned station or gridded climate datasets
  • CSV, Excel, text, NetCDF, or model-ready files
  • Drought-index tables and severity summaries
  • Publication-ready charts and comparison figures
  • Short method notes explaining the workflow
  • Reusable scripts or project-specific processing tools

What to send with your request

  • Study area, coordinates, or station list
  • Time period and variables needed
  • Available data files or links to the data source
  • Preferred method or tool, if known
  • Required output format and deadline
  • Any journal, thesis, report, or project requirements

How the service process works

1

Send the project request

Contact AgriMetSoft with a short explanation of your task, your data, and the expected output.

2

Scope and feasibility review

We review the data, method, time frame, and expected difficulty before confirming whether the work is feasible.

3

Estimate and agreement

The price depends on project complexity, data size, deadline, and the level of documentation required.

4

Analysis and delivery

After confirmation, we complete the analysis and deliver the agreed outputs in organized files.
