teorological, hydrological, agricultural, and socio-economic drought. The first and the most important of them is related to "Meteorological drought".

Meteorological drought is defined as a sustained period for three months or more in which monthly precipitation is
significantly below the long-term average over several years. There are different indices in this type of drought, that they apply different variables in their formula. The most applicable indices refer to rain-based drought indices which refer to such indices that just use precipitation amounts in their calculations.

With using these tools, you can easily calculate eight rain-based drought indices, and compare them with each other.
